Seven months ago, the German government has declared an average life-span extension of nuclear reactors in Germany of 12 years. Then, after the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, a process of rethinking began and an “ethics commission” was enacted to evaluate the future of nuclear power in Germany and possible exit strategies.
